User Content Terms

These User Content Terms (“Terms”) govern the submission, upload, publication, or sharing of content by users (“you” or “your”) through the websites operated by WiseRighteous Network, including artdigikeep.wiserighteous.org, ArtDigiKeep, and their subdomains (collectively, the “Website”).

By submitting any User Content, you agree to these Terms.

1. Definition of User Content

“User Content” includes, but is not limited to:

  • Artwork
  • Paintings
  • Drawings
  • Sculptures
  • Animal figurine artwork
  • Pottery and ceramic works
  • Crafts and DIY creations
  • Digital art
  • Photographs
  • Videos
  • Audio recordings
  • Stories and articles
  • Comments and reviews
  • Educational materials
  • Museum submissions
  • Artist profiles
  • Portfolio information
  • Any other materials submitted to the Website

2. Ownership

You retain all ownership rights, copyrights, and other intellectual property rights in your User Content.

Submitting content to the Website does not transfer ownership to WiseRighteous Network.

3. License Granted to WiseRighteous Network

By submitting User Content, you grant WiseRighteous Network a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, transferable, sublicensable license to:

  • Display your content;
  • Exhibit your content in digital museums and online exhibitions;
  • Archive and preserve your content;
  • Reproduce, distribute, and publish your content;
  • Include your content in educational materials;
  • Display your content in online courses, presentations, community events, and nonprofit programs;
  • Resize, crop, compress, translate, or make technical modifications necessary for display;
  • Promote WiseRighteous Network and its educational, museum, research, charitable, and public-interest activities.

This license continues until your content is removed from the Website, except where retention is reasonably necessary for archival, educational, legal, historical, or administrative purposes.

4. Your Representations and Warranties

You represent and warrant that:

  • You own the User Content or have all necessary permissions to submit it.
  • Your submission does not infringe the copyrights, trademarks, patents, privacy rights, publicity rights, or other legal rights of any third party.
  • Your content does not contain unlawful, defamatory, fraudulent, hateful, abusive, obscene, or otherwise inappropriate material.
  • Any identifiable individuals appearing in your submitted content have provided all permissions required by applicable law.

You are solely responsible for the User Content you submit.

5. Review, Moderation, and Removal

WiseRighteous Network reserves the right, but has no obligation, to review, edit, refuse, restrict, or remove any User Content that:

  • Violates these Terms;
  • Violates applicable laws;
  • Infringes intellectual property rights;
  • Is inconsistent with the mission or values of WiseRighteous Network;
  • Contains offensive, harmful, misleading, or inappropriate material; or
  • May expose the organization or its users to legal, operational, or reputational risk.

6. Attribution

Whenever reasonably practical, WiseRighteous Network will make reasonable efforts to credit creators using their preferred name, artist name, organization, or other attribution provided during submission.

7. Educational and Museum Use

Submitted content may be used in:

  • ArtDigiKeep Digital Museums
  • Virtual exhibitions
  • Educational programs
  • Museum archives
  • Research publications
  • Community events
  • Printed educational materials
  • Social media
  • Promotional materials supporting WiseRighteous Network’s nonprofit mission

No ownership of your artwork is transferred through these activities.

8. Removal Requests

Creators may request removal of their User Content by contacting us.

We will review removal requests in accordance with our policies, legal obligations, archival responsibilities, and educational mission. Some archived records or published materials may not be removable where retention is legally or operationally required.

9. Copyright Complaints

If you believe that User Content on the Website infringes your copyright or other intellectual property rights, please submit a notice in accordance with our DMCA Compliance Policy.

We will investigate and respond to valid notices as required by applicable law.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may revise these User Content Terms from time to time.

Updated versions will be posted on this page with a revised “Last Updated” date.

Continued use of the Website or submission of User Content after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
